Poetry reading with the Jon Randall Octet

I hope you can join me for a concert with the Jon Randall Octet. The Octet is a professional-level jazz band playing a variety of jazz tunes, from old standards to world music to out-there jazz. Jon has invited me to read three of my poems from Hour of the Green Light as introductions to three of the tunes.

I’ve heard the band a few times, and had the special pleasure of getting to hear them up close in rehearsal for this concert, and every time it’s been a true pleasure to experience their high-quality performances. I hope you can make it!
