Welcome

David and Mateo
Touched by the source

Welcome. This website is for the side of me that identifies with being a poet. That identity  blurs at the edges with other identities: teacher, husband, father, grandpa, cook, gardener, activist, pilgrim, and so on. “What is the calculus of attitude?” I ask in “Vespers.” The same may be asked for identity.

Click up above to visit pages where you can find information and links to poetry by me, my friends, and writers I have worked with and admire. Also check out the footer (that thing at the bottom), for a bunch of links to things I like.

See the “Upcoming Events” page for a list of past and future classes and readings.

Ruminations” is a blog. Feel free to add to the conversation.

Thank you for stopping by.
